Hi Everyone,
Could anyone out there tell me if Honda had some kind of problems with the reverse gear in their Rincons?
I have a two 2004 Immaculate Rincon 650's and one of them has started two grind when I put them in reverse. They never were consistent with the ease of putting them in gear, forward or reverse, they always went in with a slight bang and sometimes would jump out of gear going up a grade because they were not fully in knuckled in gear to begin with. I don't think the dealer really went over them too good when we purchased them.
I know that there is an adjustment cable but I have read once they start to grind, the damage is already done to the gear and the adjustment will not help.
I have been hearing a lot about the Reverse gear being the problem.
Thanks
R.B.
