There's a special tool for holding the clutch, so it doesn't turn. If you don't have the clutch holder tool, you can usually get the nut off by using an air impact wrench. If you use an impact wrench, you should be able to hold the clutch with both hands while someone else uses the impact wrench to get the nut off. Be sure to wear heavy gloves in case the clutch turns, so it doesn't tear up your hands. Also, the nut has left hand threads, so you have to turn it clockwise to remove it.
