What are you getting for compression? 400ex 11:1 wiseco (416)

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone else has a similar set up and what you got for compression after a compression test.

I currently don't have the carb on (just finishing the rebuild) but did a compression test and 165-170psi... Seems a bit high to me, may be because the carb is off but was wondering what you all got.

I tested compression by holding the down (carbs off anyway) and turning it over a couple times.

I just put a 426 kit back together it registered right at 200psi.... 165-170 isnt too bad for that build pretty good actually

That's good to know. is your piston 11:1? What brand do you have? I want to say I was only getting like 90psi before the upgrade so I was a little skeptical when I saw 165-170.

I think 128 is stock psi on 400... this bike has 11:1 wiseco 88mm piston. Its not mine I just work on them.. lol
