Hey TRX, have you/the mod team ever though of adding a buyer/seller review section in the "for sale section"?
I've seen it on other forums, and it allows the community to know who is a good seller/buyer, and who has had problems so that future buyers/sellers know what there dealing with, and can make a smart decision on whether or not to deal with them.
Just a thought that I was hoping could be brought up in your guys private chat section.
make sure you have an adequate amount of fuel in the tank. . . if you have spark and fuel there is no reason it shouldn't start other than valve lash being off. . . Have you tried pull starting it?? if not try it in 3rd. The wheels turn more feely that way
Hello new member here. Have an 88 trx250x inherited from my step dad. Just got running again and from reading a few of the blogs on here your the guy to talk to. This has got to be one cold blooded machine. Ive replaced cdi with new oem from partzilla.com had carb rebuilt. Started when loaded on trailer drove to aunts house about 20 min away and now wont start any suggestions. Ive checked wiring all look good and seem to have good connections good gas. At a loss and driving me bonkers!!!!!!!
Yep Im positive. . . . a 170 dynojet is actually a 190 keihin. . . However a 175-180 w/ no lid is a good starting point. The dynojet has an tiny adapter that the round jet screws in to. www.rockymountainatv.com sells keihin hex jets pretty cheap I usually suggest that people buy 165-185 in 5 increments and 3 or 4 sparkplugs so you can run your plug chop
