no plumber here but if you came up with an idea i wanna see it

 

lol bro..i have not made it yet !!..lol..it's just in the thinking stage right now ?..still..i know for a fact..it will solve all hard to remove problems when it comes to getting those stuck front..or even rear axles out now..seeing how IRS is out on newer honda's !..sooo..once i get a proto type made ?..i'll see about getting it on the market !..lol.

 

Shade, How big of a pipe threader do you need/want? (They will thread black and galvanized pipe up to 2" for you at Home Depot.

 

thanks kentco !!..i'll check them out when i get a chance ?!..lol. i've got a super great idea for a tool to help remove front cv-joint/axles !!..i hope to get a proto type made soon..and see how well it does ??..lol. i searched online to see if anyone else has made one ?..so far..no one has made one !..lol.

 

I've done a lot of plumbing over the years (copper, black pipe, GRC, etc). I do have access to a threader and cutter.
I'll be out of the Country for a few weeks (shooting video in Indonesia and Korea and Komodo).
If you'd like, feel free to PM me sometime after June 18th as I'd sure like to see what you have in mind.

pipe threads are "national pipe taper" (NPT) this taper is to make it seal.
electrical conduit and fittings use "national pipe straight,(NPS). the threads
are not tapered but straight like a bolt. check ur electrical supply or contractor.
this might work for u.

 

Depending on what you need, like was mentioned before you can get pipe threaded at Home Depot or Lowes. You can also look thru the rigid pipe section an see what they have in stock.
