Honda 300 4x4 floorboards , Lets see them :)

I want floorboards for my 98 300 4x4. Share some pics of yours installed to give some ideas.. Thanks to anyone who does, really appreciate it

I built a set based off a pattern that a guy on Ebay makes and sells, his are $85 bucks I believe, but very well built, as are mine. I've got $51 bucks in mine, not including my time, about 5 hours to build and paint both. I'll get a pic when I get in this afternoon and post it for ya buddy. It's a world of difference having them and I love mine, but it's a preference thing, some dig em, some hate em, but they definitely help me and feel very nice and with the expanded metal on top, 110% no slip when wet or covered in mud, even with Crocks on lol, so that will tell ya something right there!

I couldn't live with out floor boards for two reasons , makes it easier getting on and off , keeps my feet from getting hurt on roots and ruts , but mainly for standing on one side the bike with both feet and driving it along to get out of tight spots , that didn't sound right , not in close quarters , but when you in a hole and one side the bike is higher than the other and out of balance , you stand on one side and ride it standing up leaning your weight to the side your on

buddy just gave me some 1 inch square tubing to build me a set , they have some store bought for $108 , last set I built took quite a few hours to do , thinking of buying them built this time but show me some pics and make me change my mind

Do a build thread Fishfiles! I've thought they couldn't be that hard to build if one had a welder.

My welding is horrible, but I'm getting better.

I’m due to make a set next week, just waiting on @rodp to bring me some mesh down for the tops. Can post pics in my 300 thread or do a dedicated thread. Don’t want to take the thread idea away from you though Fishfiles, your up first bud.

Thanks Jay , speaking of floor boards and white trim , when I ordered the Strong Made floor boards I asked if I could get a set just primed and not painted black , which he said I could but it would be an undetermined wait , I want to paint them white but doubt I will paint over a brand new set , I think it would look sharp with white floor boards

Moose utlities makes some good ones.

Your welcome fish! I'd at least have to try white on them just to see how she looks,i think sharp

it's been one day for me, on a note having turn signal problems on. My big truck, s no hauls today.....I'm one beat ars .... Traced so many wires today narrowed down to the quot steering stem lever.. $99 bucks for a new ordered today, and I'm doing some testing on the oem, TM morning, so pockets didn't get any deeper today, rant done... Lol it's been one day for sure.

Here's the set I built, may look a little weird to y'all, but I had to be able to get to the shifter and brake with hip boots or waders on, and with the wide expanded metal on top, ya even have no slip grip with Crocks!

Reminds me of a snow shoe , but what do I know about snow , I only had 2 inches total combined in the 5 times it snowed , in my 59 years where I live ! ----- looks very heavy duty !

Yeah, hind sight, I'd do them a little different and still may, they bolt on through the factory holes in the pegs, but like I stated, gotta have enough room to get big ol wader boots in em to shift, but still have plenty in the rear to attach the fenders to. And yes, you'll tear up the frame beforw they will, guaranteed! That wide expanded metal is great, no slip no matter how muddy or what shoes, boots your wearing, awesome for that, but after seeing them on, and after the pic I posted, I think ill change them up some, lol, but they work great as is.
