How do you ship a dirtbike?
How do you ship a four-wheeler?

I might be trading my dirtbike for a four-wheeler, But where abouts can I go for shipping? As I have never shipped out a dirtbike nor a quad? Have you guys?
Any input would be great thanks.

I justv bought a 350x 3 wheeler from a guy in fla. and had it shipped to ut. He had it banded to a very heavy duty pallet and shrink wrapped . this was all done at the trucking company and I picked it up here at the company dock. it is pricey $425.00 but not as pricey as driving to fla. to pick it up.

ohhhhhh..i know the answer to this !!..lol..a bonded title is a for when you..say..buy a motor cycle..or car..or anything....the owner has lost the title..or claims they did..( carefull here..it maybe stolen ! )..you go file for a bonded title..a company ( title company ) makes you out a title for the property..and it's around 100 bucks or so for this service. the down side of this...say your out ridding/driving in or on your new ride..you get pulled over..and they run a vin number check and it comes back reported stolen..well..your not gonna go to jail..seeing how you got this bonded title and all..but they will take your property from you..and your out any and all money you invested into it. and it does not matter if this took 5 or 10 years to happen...there is no time limit on it.

pretty much , except that I a have done this twice now , the dmv here does a record check to the last known owner if it was ever registered.
Then you mail out a certified letter to them ( AND IT COULD BE PLENTY OF PEOPLE IF THAT THING HAS CHANGED HANDS , AND EVERYONE HAS TO SIGN OFF ON IT) asking if they have interest in it, and if they would apply for title for you, most will not so then they just write a signed notorized letter stating they have zero interest and thats that. Plus

I always call the local PD and give them the vin they check it out and if they have time or want to they can do a nationwide search also.
If it comes up clean I buy the bike ,atv or car I do that first before any cash leaves my hands, I call the pd from the persons home who is selling it, and if they know it's hot they will change their mind on selling it to ya really quick when they hear the conversation.
Had that happen once hahaha I get my bond right from my insurance company ( State Farm) cost 50 bucks for any amount up to 5k.
after 3 years of being bonded no one can claim they own it but you the one with the bonded title and you can even sell it with a bonded title.
