@rtmillerx awesome to know thanks! What kind of grease? Is there a vid showing how to do that on an ES model?
It is cold but Calif cold = mega snow storm yesterday and tonight, but it will be a high of 68* and low of 42* next week

 

Absolutely! weak battery will cause slow/no shifts
Make sure your voltage regulator is working too, by checking voltage with the ATV off, then with it running
Should increase to 13-14.5 volts but not higher than 15vdc or so
Also, if its cold where you are you might re-grease the reduction gears for the shift motor
The factory stuff they used hardens into tar and makes shifts even more difficult with cold temps and weak battery
