Kinda new to the atv scene I'm looking at buying a 1990 300 fourtrax its all time 4x4 but the frobt dosent pull. Any ideas? He only wants 1000 $ for it but i don't wanna have 1000 in fixing the 4 wheel drive. Thanks Dustyn

Well you won't put a thousand into that's for sure...It could be a few things...stripped ring/pinion gear...or the transfer case could be stripped. Both would be relatively easy fixes. Does it have a 4-2-4 lockout installed? Does it run? What kind of condition is the rest of the bike in? Welcome to the forums.

It needs starter (kickstart works) also missing front rack. Other then that runs great just front wheels don't pull
My money is on a stripped driveshaft or bad front diff....either way those are less then $150 fixes (off ebay ofcourse)
