I have the 2" lift from highlifter for my 420, idk how to put pictures on here or i'd show you. It looks pretty good from the back, they have highlifter cut out in the metal, and its easily visible when someone is behind you, i can email you pics if you want to see it

Gave me an actual 2 inches. Just noticed I need to change a cv boot too though. Fun fun!!!

The big gun sounds great and gives a noticeable difference in power but I is loud. I'm gonna try the hmf swamp series when I get the extra cash to buy it. It's supposed to be quieter.

Very easy to install took a total of 45 min. Makes a huge difference.

This has nothing to do with the lift but how does your 420 at turn the 27'' mega mayhems. I got a 2013 420 at and was thinking about the mega mayhems.

#17 ·
do you think the 420 at would have enough power to turn the mega mayhems in all or most places

#19 ·
For sure power loss on the at but I'm fixin to put the sra gear reduction in and it should get it back to close to stock power. It goes just dont have the bite I'm looking for.

I have heard of the sra gear reduction. Do you know if it is hard to do

I have 28 zillas, not nearly as much lug as the mayhems, but in the really thick stuff I can't really turn them anymore, but in anything with the slightest bit of water in it I haven't had a problem with the 28's.

The reduction is a fairly lengthy process from what I understand. Most say it takes about 8 hrs but those guys are probably more mechanically inclined then me too lol. You have to remove the rear end and the air box to get to the case on the back of the motor. Break it open swap 2 gears, file down the speed sensor, and then the same process in revers to make a long story short. There is a thread with detailed instructions on here somewhere for the sra and the irs. From what I hear its well worth it. I've talked to some people on the form that has the sra gears in an irs and they say it makes all the difference with the bigger tires. I think it works out to be 18-20% reduction. Probably about like gaining an extra low gear I would imagine. It will effect your top end though having the lower gears but I like to have that bite on take off.

I love them so far. They ride very smooth to have 1 1/2" lugs on hard pack and pavement and from what I can tell they are very good in mud and loose terrain. They do dig bad in sand but what can you expect with those big lugs.

I ride on all types of different terrain on mine...gravel roads, rocky roads up in the hills, of course in and out of mud quite a bit and I don't have anything bad to say about them at all..they do have a bit rougher ride but it isn't like beat you to death or anything. And so far they seem to wear pretty good also.

How are they wearing on pavement and hard packed. Are they made with a hard rubber compound.

#28 ·
Havnt road enough on pavement to know about wear on it but the tires seem to be pretty hard rubber. I agree with ccharged I ride all types of terrain and no complaints.

how tall do the 27 mega mayhems actually measure
