Offering cash for your junked out OEM Honda Oil Temp Sensor, part number: 37750-HC4-751. Those sensors were fitted on most of the utility models produced from the '90s thru late '00. The interchange list can be viewed here:

The only requirements are that your old, junked sensor is still in one piece and has good threads and sealing areas still on them. I am hoping to find two of them for starters... I intend to gut them out and pot my own thermistors inside them, to be used in a fan control unit project that I am working on.

I have a couple of the two-wire versions for an '87, one of the single wire, like you asked for. Same here - If Shade doesn't have what you need or you wan't additional ones, I'll send you any/all of them and pick up the shipping. Least I could do after all the help you give around here. Hell, you should be drawing a salary.

But it will definitely result in a trade with you for one of the gizmos that those oil temp sensors are needed for right now...! Because I'm pretty confident that we have stumbled upon a kick-butt (and dirt cheap) programmable fan control unit replacement, suitable for swapping onto any of the pre-2010 Honda utilitys!
