I have a warn winch on my 07 420 that didn't have a cable in it when I got it. I got a replacement cable but I am unsure on how to keep the loop secured in the winch. I don't see a bolt or anything to hold it. What should I get to put in the loop itself for when I pull it tight?

You wrap the end of the cable around a ball and pull it into the hole. If you don't have the ball that came out of your old cable then a ball out of a wheel bearing will work.

Where can I get the steel ball bearing if I don't be have anything laying around?

That I can't answer. You just need a steel ball about 3x's the size of a BB.
