I have been cleaning my 1986 TRX125 that has not ran in 10 years. It is cleaned and runs really good anything above an idle. has lots of power and runs smooth. it will not idle. I have cleaned the carburetor, which was a mess. all ports are open. It is like it gets no gas in the idle position. I can run the throttle but when I try to idle it dies. I cleaned the piolet jet and I got a wire to clean the hole in the center. the wire was .011 inch. is that to small, should the hole be bigger? all holes on the sides are clean. I have adjusted the idle screw but does nothing except raise the throttle plunger above an idle. I have cleaned and put the mixture screw back in the same position. I also tried adjusting it with no help. please help

It sounds like the carb is probably still plugged up somewhere in the idle circuit. Check that the sharp pointed tip of the pilot screw has not broken off. Sometimes if those are overtightened the tip will break off inside the carb body and plug up that tiny hole. See the attachment.

You can find a copy of the service manual here if you haven't found one yet:

it is idling better. must of still had stuff in the ports. thank you very much
Better or properly?

Wouldn't hurt to clean it again IMO

Glad you got it running better though :)
