Have an 88 Honda Fourtrax 250 with stock wheels and rims. I can get a set of new tires and rims that are 12s off a Yamaha Grizzly 550. They're four lug and I know 2 are 25x8x12. Would this size work on my honda if the lug pattern matches?

if the bolt patterns are the same then you would probably be good, and you might have to make some sorta lift if the tires were too big or shave some of the plastics to make them fit.

They should bolt up, since both have the same bolt pattern.(4/110). However, the offset is probably different, but they still might work. I would want to bolt them on and see how they do before I bought them, because the front tire is going to be 4 sizes bigger in diameter than the original tire. It might not handle right with that much difference in size. Also, the front tires may rub the fenders.

BTW, the other two tires from the Grizzly should be 25X10-12 if they are the stock size tires.

well I went and purchased 2 new front tires instead of getting the deal on the other rims and tires. The tire that was flat when I purchased the 4-wheeler apparently has a bent rim.

When I picked the tires up from the shop it was flat and the mechanic was suprised....... he worked with it and said it would be fine... Got home and my son ride it for awhile and it went flat again.

Noone on craigslist or at the local shops have a stock rim for sale :(
