Where the heck is the drain plug in the rear differential on this bike? took the cover off and i cant find it.

I can't remember for sure, but it will be near the bottom. I believe it's on the back side, but my memory isn't what it used to be. It will just be a regular bolt.

No, it's on the outer side of the diff, near the bottom. I told you my memory wouldn't what it used to be. It is #17 in the diagram below.

Thank you ! Helmut its #17 . there was alot of mud and dirt on it all the bolts look the same.

Ok- got the oil drained. Now i see most people are using 80w gear oil in the diff's. right? in stead of 10-40w. makes sense .
What about the Front Gear Case, Can i use 80w gear oil in it also?

I believe it should be 80/90 in both differentials. The transfer case I think I've heard of people using either 80/90 or regular 10-40. Someone else with a 4x4 model can maybe answer that for you.

Yeah, I laughed when I typed it, but I couldn't say it was at the top. LOL. That's the only way I knew how to tell him where it was at. Then, I thought to post a diagram of it.

Yeah, that was pretty funny.

But at least if I hadn't have said it was at the bottom, Fastas would have never known. LMAO.

for 4x4's the Tcase is 10w40 just like the motor (JASO MA approved oil only).. the diffies are 80w90
