I don’t plan to ride a whole lot but every now and again will want to bring the kids out for a little ride. Purchased the bike mainly for hunting and fishing. I live in Barrie. I heard that they want you to get a trail pass? Is this accurate? Are their trails in the area that I could go with my kids for a short ride that don’t require the pass?

well I have NO clue where Barrie is, as in what state o r providence or??
rather vague location listing
BUT any how, doesn't really matter to me , as the BEST way to fond LEGAL places is to contact your state or providence , either game dept, DCNR/DNR , or actual recreational dept, and have accurate and up to date information, so your not caught where your not allowed and or riding without something to LEGALLY need to have
like Insurance, helmets, some places DON"T legally allow passengers on atv's NOT made to carry them(meaning a two up seat from the FACTORY ONLY deal), helmets or NOT, or other safety gear, some places require eye protection and or boots and so on!

and then of course any permits and or trail passes
and then each and every ATV trail system, will have its own rules, be it how wide atv's can be, if any aftermarket exhausts are allowed and so on!

trespassing to ride is one of the biggest issue's here in my area and land owner gets very pissed off when they see folks riding without permission, so I strongly suggest, you KNOW before you ride, , to stay both safe and Friendly with land owners! , also cuts down on fines and like things if caught!

so, to find places, contact the agency that handles ATV's where you live, , they should have all the info you need on where , how and what is needed to ride legally!
