I have a rubicon, can anyone tell me where or show me a picture of a pressure relief valve.

This came for a post on this site from a repair manual----

"A grinding or ratcheting noise is a sign of low oil pressure and can be caused by a stuck pressure relief valve."

Where is the link to the manual? Post it here.

The manual I'm looking at shows the valve buried inside the engine. It's not going to be something you can remove/replace without cracking the engine open. At least, thats what it looks like to me.

According to a post that I found on another forum, the pressure relief valve seems to be inside the Hondamatic unit.

"I pulled the hondamatic and it was seized up. I figured I had nothing to loose so I disassembled the hondamatic and found a relief valve (or check valve) came out and was ground up. So I replaced the hondamatic with a used one I got from a friend that I believe was miss-diagnosed (wasn't shifting). I also replaced the oil pump with a new one."

Here is the link to the post if you want to read the whole thread.
