I've found other post on here talking about changing and or grounding the neutral switch so that one can get the green neutral light to turn on. The problem is nobody talks about where it is in the bike! I have a 2000 350 fourtrax. If someone can give me exact instructions on locating it or even some pics of where it is would be fantastic.

It is under the rear cover:

You can get a copy of the service manual HERE. Section 20 has the troubleshooting tests you'll need and section 10 contains the rear side cover R&R info & pitfalls... Check the neutral light bulb... & the diode between the bulb and the neutral switch too, if yours is equipped.
