I can't believe I read you are going to give up on the blue plastic , I think that is what helped you win more than the mods , seems to me mods that you don't see , don't get the love that a simple mod that is highly visible does ! For instance , Slammer Ranger has the most impressive list of mods I remember seeing on this site , and the bike looks fantastic

SamUK will probably pay a gazillion pounds sterling for your plastics , and I'd bet with them plastics he could win a ATV monthly contest , wouldn't that be cool for the same plastics to have won on two different bikes

Thanks again guys!! I always wanted a blue 300. Found this one & “settled” with the conditions of the plastics. If anyone remembers in my build thread, they were scuffed pretty bad so I took a heat gun too them. Did a great job except a few spots I over heated. One being where the gas tank sits into the front fender and one where the rear fender plugs into the gas tank. The rear fender brackets are both broke too. So there is 10mm bolts thru the fenders with a nut on the back side. (Typical on these old bikes) It also has a small crack where the seat release lever is. I’ve drilled a hole and have it zip tied.

So with all the “little” imperfections and the $$ I’ve spent on the quad I want “perfection”. I’ve been searching for months for a MINT 300. They sell fast around here. However I’ve lined one up to look at for this Sat. $3500 for a 94 Red 300. Original owner, MINT as far as pics & only ever used for hunting. Old guy has it. Red isn’t my colour of choice, but if they are mint, that’s all the that matters to me.

I’ll swap plastics & buddy at work said he pay $2500 for the quad & wants me to go over it, clean carb ect. Wants one for his son.
