My first post. Sup guys, and thanks for the help.

My first ATV, Honda 99 TRX300FW 4x4

I need wheel cylinder rebuild kits, most of the ones I find are 88-98. A lot of the other parts in general I found to be 88-2000. Are these not the same wheel cylinders?

Are the cylinder rebuild kits for the 88-98 work on a 99? I can't seem to find any that would work with a 99.

Where do most of you guys buy parts from?

Thanks,
Robert

Welcome to the forums. If the wheel cylinders are different on the '99-up, I'm not aware of it. Maybe someone else will know for sure.

Welcome to the forums! I have never had any luck rebuilding wheel cylinders, if you don't have cylinder hones to claen the cylinder bore you are not doing much good other than puting new seals on them, the piston and cylinder are usually pitted i would buy new wheel cylinders its a safty issue to me i like my breaks to work when i need them.

I agree 69. I always just buy new ones, too.
