There's a sure enough ouch!
Ouch , I actually seen that happen to a Honda and I actually own it now , it was a buddy's 96 2wd , the frame was rusted bad inside out , he fixed it a few times with fence post, it cocked the frame and blew up the rear end on the same trip , he left it here for a long time and then sold it to me cheap , I stuck another frame and 250 rear end under it and still have it

Yep, I've seen a few small rust areas mostly in this area (pic) So many people DON'T know about keeping those frame/rack drains holes clean.

i got stomped by a horse, in the rib cage. [i'm broken i cant get up]. good thing she were only, 1,000 lb's.
2 yr. old.
i kicked her back before her back hoof went up, or it might ave been worst. i had reflexes, back then. horse kicks me, i kick em back, didnt even have to think. might not have kicked them, if i did.

Every 300 I’ve had but ONE was rusted at least as bad as that pic if not worse in the same spot.

I’ve ran into plenty of broken Honda’s and every other brand. They all break. To buy a Honda and never expect anything to go wrong would be foolish.

(Answer) Mount pleasant .... Near where phosphate was mined. Each one that came like that was due to ether being used on a dairy farm , or some kind of mining area.

i kick them, or out smart them. the only way. granted, it's a bit hard to out smart a horse, it can be done. a filly, 2 yr. old didnt like her mane touched. i were using a mane comb. and didnt fasten her to the barn. she got mad, got away from me, an backed up, let both rear hoof's fly. i thought i was a goner.
one hoof smacked the stall, the other, got my in the chest. the one that got me, barely touched me. the other one, you can imagine the noise. i got out of the stall right quick. when my heart settled down, i went back in. i fastened her to the barn, i brought some grain, not a lot, an when she was still, while using a main comb, i give her a small hand full. that solved that.. as far as a horse that dont mind if it step's on your feet, or over crowd's ya. that is simple, though hard learned.
all ya need is a light stick, or a whip, though i dont think that is necessary... when ya are around the horse, take that light stick, [bambo], lightly tap the leg, or around the heel area, just above the fetlock, in the front, or the back. it's annoying to the horse, and they learn, to keep their leg's away. i only remember a foot getting stepped on, twice. kicked. a different story.
think of it this way. [if some child kept taping you on the ankle, though it didnt hurt, how long would it take to get annoyed] i'm thinking 7-10.., maybe less :smile 4
keep that little stick in front of your knee, when ya get close to the horse, just flick it, dont take much...
