I'm pretty sure it's a 125. It should say on the cylinder jug, somewhere. Probably at the bottom of the cylinder where the cylinder bolts to the block.

Not sure about the year, but a '92 looks about like yours. It should have a sticker on the frame, somewhere, unless it has peeled off.

Thats not a 125 the head is at to high of a straight up angle. The 125's were almost straight out the front.

What else could it be, though. It has to be at least a 125 by looking at the size of the head and I think the next size was a 200, but I don't think that's a 200.

Seems like I can remember some of the older model 70's or 90's with the cylinder jug that laid out almost flat.

Well, maybe they can look on the engine for the size. I know they all have it stamped on the cylinder jug, somewhere. At least, everyone that I've ever seen did.

Man that motor is completely different from the 125 I have.I do know they changed motors in them at some year and the one I have is like one of the first models made so maybe thats the modern one.

Yeah, that's probably what it is. But that's definitely the same engine he has in the pictures, because it even has that funny shaped black plastic piece on the side of the crankcase.

for what it's worth..they did make a 125 straight angle engine in 86..with reverse..they put them in 3 wheelers..chain drive/ 125 with reverse..and they also made the 125 with a slant out head..mostly for trx125's.
