Hey guys, I had another post about my build up, well my engine died yesterday, piston dead, cam dead, rockers dead, and out of respect, that post is dead. New post here. New topic. New engine.

weeell, I'll be putting together back the 250x engine with a 0.50 12:1 Wiseco Piston, Port and Polish, and a Stage 1 HotCams. What should I expect? Which Jet kit do you guys recomend.

They aren't any harder to maintain than any other modded quad, Min is modded my engine is solid, I put the 400EX carb on that took a bit of time with finding the proper air/fuel ratios other than that it's a great machine.

This will be the first engine I moded, or even owned, so I really have no idea what kind of maintainance needs to be done (aside of the usual which is done to a standard ATV). I don't trust a lot of mechanics, in my country they aren't very professionals, so what you guys are giving me is what I'll work with. By the way, I can't find a proper jet kit for the 250, which, where, do you recomendo? this is the only one I'm finding, but not sure about it. Just go buy jets for a 300ex they are the same carb, the kits are the same but all you need to do is jet you can buy individual jets from the dealer for about 8 bucks. with the mods you will be doing I would say a 130 main and 40 on the pilot. Look at my thread CV carb tuning info the guy who wrote that up is pretty sharp. I spoke to him yesterday by phone.

Thanks guys, I'm looking for the jets. KB has run out of them and aren't getting any for the next 2 weeks.

No kidding man, I already ordered and paid by paypal when Ken called me and told me that he was out of stock...lol oh well I can wait, he offered to refund me my cash but I'm in no hurry.
