Can anyone help me. I need to know the name of the part i can install on my 350 2006 rancher so im not stuck in 4x4 all the time. I thought it would be fine at first, but I've had the atv 3 years and yet to do one donut lol. I need to spray someone with mud. please help.

Your talking about the Warn 424 kit. They discontinued them. They still make parts for them though. I think they discontinued them because all the newer quads are already coming out with 2wd/4wd select so there isn't really a market for them.

I had one on an 05 Rancher I used to own and boy what a difference in performance as far as handling! Best investment one can make on a full time 4wd machine.

You would think that Warn would still make them being that there are still a bunch of full time 4wd machines out there!

Everyone is telling me that they discontinued the Warn 424 Select, also. I need one for my 400 Foreman, too. Maybe Cabela's hasn't sold what they had, yet. You can find them on Ebay sometimes, too, but make sure it will fit your 4-wheeler before ordering.

I'm new to this forum so please be patient...

The 424 produced by warn (moose, warn with after market label) is discontinued. I called them looking for 1 for my 2001 500 Rubi i just purchased (190 miles on it). The explanation I was given by the warn rep. was that they sold the axle line that had the machines that was used in the production of the 424 selectors...

I have called over 20 places that show the 424 selector available on-line and they all say the same thing. They are no longer available. It would be nice if these places would stop showing them available for purchase just to place an order or call to find out they order from someone else and can't get them anymore.. There are "some" available out there for the smaller models but none to be found for the "big bore". My self i can't believe it.. I work in the parts industry and this is weird. They stopped production in 2008 but yet there are none to be found anywhere?? No wherehouse, Box Store inventory, small atv dealer... I guess this is what Just In Time inventory get us...

I will continue looking as I really want one for summer trail riding and maybe I can "luck" into one. If anyone knows of a place that has the selector for the model i listed or knows of an available used one please send me the info as it would really make my day.. and put less pressure on the arms!!

the only warn 424 that is on ebay right now...ONLY FITS fourtrax foreman 400 4x4 95-97..and fourtrax foreman 400 4x4 2003..everything else is discontiued..sooo..i'd say your out of luck..unless someone has one stuck back in thier wharehouse that will fit your year and make.
