What kind of fluid and how much goes in this middle transfer case i think its the gear oil but just not sure how much or what kind

you can run either reg motor oil ?, or same gear oil that goes in the front and rear differentials ?, 80w-90 hybrid gear oil. full synthetic is what I run with 80w-90. reason: there is no clutches inside this area to worry about. if it was your engine ?, then you must run oil made for wet clutches !..but this is not the case . if I remember right ? it tells you on the front side of the case I think ?.

There is a check bolt on the front of it you remove, fill it up until it runs out. It’s also cast into it somewhere the capacity, something tells me 200ml or there abouts. I use gear oil in them.

Check manual
I think the manuals waffle on the lube type from year, as I vaguely recall. If i used gear oil it was Belray hypoid maybe 80W-90.
