Don't have a clue what the tin cans are suppose to do , maybe it is to heat up lunch on the trails ----- but it sure it sure looks like the frame is bent pretty good , you say you just bought that bike ?
Ya, just bought it. It had a big cargo rack and a bunch of crap attached to the rear rack, so it didn't look lopsided when we looked at it. When we took all the junk off, we noticed how bad the frame was bent.

It looks like they added a waterproof storage containers on it
If it's not attached to anything and seals with cap on I'm pretty sure that's what it is
Use a similar setup on my trailer to keep the registration in
Little awkward if ya get stopped and grab a pipe wrench when asked for registration but always have it
Just my thoughts on it

container

when you do find out, let us know. we might want to smuggle something across the boarder.
i hear the Muskie is pretty good in canada. by the time you got back. it could be piping hot, an ready to eat. i always wondered what piping hot meant, today, then it dawned on me. it could mean the pipes, on a boiler, or exhaust pipe, i been burn a bit by both. :smile
