Hi All,

New to the forum.

I was doing an oil change and gear oil change last night and after I was cleaning up, I found this O-ring on the shop floor. I've been doing oil changes on this machine for years and have never seen an O-ring like this during the process. The only O-ring I've seen is on the oil dipstick cap. Is this from the oil drain plug location???

Pic is attached. It's maybe 1/2" diameter.

Just hoping I didn't leave something off and I'm going to lose all my oil over the winter!

check to see if it came off the dipstick
There should be one on the dipstick it frequently comes off

It would help to have a model of what atv it is , I would say that o-ring goes on the inside the filter cover

Foreman 500 sorry - yes figured it out thanks! It is inside the filter cover at the 2 oclock position.
