That is missing the baffle. You will need to buy one and drill the broken bolts out of the 3 holes. You will have a hard time finding one though because people remove them all the time to make there quads louder. Probably will have to go new oem. And the price will probably put you into cardiac arrest. My .02

It will be fine to ride without the baffle but will be louder. It may also loose back pressure and could reduce back pressure within the exhaust system, in turn that could cause a small power loss or could gain you power. Either way I doubt you'd notice the power loss or gain with a standard/stock motor.

you will also loose the spark arrestor side of things not having the oem baffle in it,
which would make it illegal to ride in many places that require one, , or can just cause a fire on your own lands or where you ride?

, they used to sell slip on line silencers for ATV's, just the tail section then would be replaced!

you an also maybe do the ATV silencer mod, to make things quiet again if noise bothers you more than worry about spark arrestor being there

fire is a very low risk, but it is possible in very dry conditions

its why there required on all major trail systems!
the silencers , a ton of commercial made one's do work, there are tons of home made one's on You tube, look rather easy to make if you have basic tools and means

In the pictures I posted in this thread you can see the 3 screws broke off with the tip.. How can I go about getting those out so I can add the new tip?

I hate to keep bothering everyone hehe, but I am the furthest from being a mechanic and have no Idea..

Your not bothering anybody Oxmoses your learning and your in a very good forum to learn from. Have you tried using vice grips to remove the screws?

Edit: Should have clicked on the picture to enlarge it first! It looks like you'll have to drill them out, or drill and use an easi-out.

They are broken off inside it just a bit, just far enough that I can't get a hole on them hehe.. If I got another tip and just tacked it on with a welder, would that work too or is that a bit to much?

drill the broken bolts out, re-tap new threads, 8mm threads, this means they are metric.
