went riding today on some dirt roads that are close by to where I live and things were great when I was going up the dirt road. then I got to a spot where I could turn around and so I did. but when I was coming back I was close to the side of the road and I came around the turn and there was a like a washed out section of the road. I put the brake on but it was to late the quad went in the hole front first and threw me of and landed on top of me a little bit. I'm ok my shoulder hurts when I move my arm but that's it. and the quad if fine I will have to get new rear fenders cause the one side is all scratched up and the left front tie rod end is bent so I will have to get a new one of those also but everything else is ok. so that ended that I will never ride my quad close to the side of a dirt road again. I can move my shoulder and my arm so I don't think anything is broken it just hurts pretty good.

well I can move my arm half way up then my shoulder will start to hurt and I can't raise it anymore than that. so if it starts to hurt worse i will have to go and get a x-ray of it and see if I maybe cracked something or if i just hurt the muscles. cause if I would have broke something it would have swelled up and it's not swollen or anything like that it just hurts when i move my arm. I was surprised that it didn't screw up my new bike anymore than it did. but I sure learned my lesson i will never ride 30mph down a dirt road again and i'm going to wear my helmet every time I ride like I did with mt 250. cause I truly believe that the man above was watching over me this time. cause it could have been a lot worse, cause the way that I hit the dirt it pushed my head sideways so i'm very lucky that it didn't break my neck right then and there. so I will never be that stupid again helmet every time from now on.

yeah I usually don't ride without my helmet either, but I can't figure out what got in to me this week I should have known better than to ride with out a helmet. but no more i'm going to go back to my old ways and ware my helmet every time i ride from now on. and i'm not going to ride on dirt roads much any more i'll just stick to the atv trails and ride them with way more caution from now on. cause this sucks. cause now i'm hurt and I have to spend my money on new rear fenders instead of trying to get my aluminum wheels to fit on the back of my new quad. i'm going to try and bend my tie rod end back straight and then measure the toe and make sure that its good. if it is good then i will just let it be and buy my new rear fenders. so wish me well guys. and thanks.

I would just slow down a little and be careful until you get used to your new machine. A 700 is a big jump from a 250. After you get used to the way it drives and handles, you should be OK. And yeah, wear that helmet.
well guys, i didn't sleep very good last night with my shoulder. And it's hurting pretty good this morning. but they always have said that the next day is worse.Probably going to go to the doctor tomorrow and see if i can get a x-ray taken I just hope that nothing is broke or cracked. cause getting cut open is not on my to do list. so well see what happens.

Man that sucks about the quad!...but i'm glad your ok!
well guys i just got back from the doctors office. and i broke my collar bone but not all the way through it just just cracked it so i have to wear this brace now for 4-6 weeks. i will try to post up some pics of it if i can and when i can pull it out of the shed but it has a bent tie rod and the right rear fender is all scratched up from the crash but other than that i think that its fine it still starts right up. but i will t ry to get some pics posted up ok.
