Theres a weird winding/grinding coming from my 400 I can’t find the noise or explain it. It is slowly getting worse. The noise happens when I give throttle though a turn,so I thought to check the diff and there’s nothing wrong with it. I tried to figure out exactly how it happens so I did circles and it happens when I hit 11mph starts to grind losing power but engine reving and after I stop turning the engine hooks back up

Oil level sounds low. Especially if its when you are turning.

Assuming you mean a 400 utility not a 400ex sports ATV?

In order...

Jack up the front end and turn wheels by hand, whilst straight and at opposite angles.

Check diff oil level.

Change oil and check for contamination, mainly metalic matter.

Check diff to tranny shaft splines.

My guess, it's an axle CV joint.

It was low on oil and it is the utility model I will be checking diffs and and changing the oil once I get a chance thanks for the advice
