someone said power washing a quad would mess with electrical system... is this true because ive been using the hose out front! just curious and what "mild detergents" do you all use... ive found simple green the one of my choice!! thanks

I would not pressure wash a quad. I watched a kid at the car wash tear a hole in his seat with one. And you have all of those wires exposed aswell. I use what ever car washing soaps I have around. They work good and Never had any issues.

Super Clean works really well as far as the electrical?? Two word....DIE-ELECTRIC GREASE put it on all connections even where the plug boot goes on the plug

Pressure washer is fine, just don't blast electrical connections or seals. All of the seals are designed to seal at atmospheric pressure, 1200PSI is hardly atmospheric.

sorry to distract from oringinal convo, put i pressure wash my 400 all the time, but can i do it when its 20 degrees??? Cuz i dont want water to puddle up and freezing on stuff.
