is it possible to unhook the electric odometer on Rancher and ride it without the miles rolling? or unhook the cable from the tire? Let me know what you heard. I heard its very simple and easy to cheat the honda system. TRUE OR FALSE? ----are we possibly buying used machines with fake miles?

You might be able to unhook the speed sensor on some Honda models, but I doubt you could if it was an ES model or auto model, because it probably wouldn't shift right.

You won't find a cable, though, they will all be electrical.

Im sure like most vehicles and macinery today you can unhook the meter until the cows come home but if the ecm is able to be accessed they will know... If a dealer is caught doing this that would then be a federal offense. MY 2 Lincolns

what about shady people that take money and can put your miles on your car to whatever you want maybe same for atv, had a buddy that did this on his 05 bmw m3. put like 80k on the car withing a year and a half (of course no dealer or emisssions saw the car) than paid shady people like 2k they did some shady junk and boom it was back to the miles he had last had service/ emissions done.

Yeah, it's hard to believe, but some people can actually tear them up that quick.
