lo , As stated I am looking to buy a used exhaust header to include the left knee heat shield for a 1987 trx350D, I am located in the U.K. The TRX i purchased the other day is missing the heat shield but the bolts are snapped off in the exhaust header so I will have to replace the exhaust header now :( . Or is there anywhere that produce a new fabricated exhaust header that fits the TRX 350D. I've seen one on eBay but I don't think they ship to the uk

Hey Chris just take it to a machinist and have them drill and retap. Main thing is not to drill into the header
I think they are 6mm x 10mm long by 1mmthread.?
I checked the parts spec/list on Rocky Mountain and it wasn’t specific on thread type but i can check mine.

I have purchased the exhaust from that eBay seller, I'm just awaiting payment details from the seller, so fingers crossed it fits ,if not I'll do as you recommend, and take it to a shop They do look very similar
