Guy says he has a set of nerfs for it, has new carrier/bearings, needs nothing, new front plastics, exhaust..

I've got a few quads but haven't been in the Honda scene recently to know what these are going for now days.

I would be trading him my street bike for this plus cash, ultimately I would have like 1500 in this. I'm looking to just clean it up as best as possible, keep it over the winter/early spring, maybe ride it a couple of times and sell it. I just want to make sure I'll be able to make my money back. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks.

if he wants 1500 for it total..yeah..thats a good deal..you may want to ride it first..and inspect it..make sure everything works before you do any trading and handing over your bike and cash though.

Yeah he would be bringing it up to me to check out and he'll be checking out the bike. I'm going to be sure to let him know that I won't be interested if it isn't as he said it was. Just want to be sure I can get my money out of it this spring.

depends on the markey. I got my 03 400ex, with paddles, renthal bars, pipe, jetted, power lid with kn, helmet,and all the stock parts for 1500. and I'm going to put it up for 2500 this spring, should have no problem for me. But that's in Michigan, and it has a title.
