Hey guys,
I'm gathering parts to rebuild this FourTrax Trx300.
I have about everything to go through the fuel system completely. I was checking the parts, I found I was sent the wrong size fuel line, way to big.
It occurred to me that I have the right I.D. size in generic vinyl tubing I bought at Lowes some years back. But I'm not sure this
will work with gasoline. Anyone tried this yet?

Yes it will turn hard and kinda yellow. You should be able to get some real fuel line (the black rubber stuff) at AutoZone pretty cheap.

It'll harden up however shouldn't leak unless pressurized. I use it on my KLX and it does get rock hard, but gives me no issues since it isn't under pressure.

Yeah, think I will use it for testing purposes.
Plans didn't go as intended, the carb rebuild turned out to be a bust. Carb was total junk, ended up ordering a replacement.
