looks great !..one of the best bikes honda ever made..that was my very first 4 wheeler...and it didn't look anything like yours !..i done a complete restore of it..it was a 87 also...was one tough 4 wheeler..the trx250 was right up there with the honda 300's..the motors in them where as tough as they came back then..easy to rebuild and maintain..mine was givi'n to me..soo..for the price...lol..you couldn't beat it !..yeah..it was a basket case...but..after about 6 months of tearing it down..rebuilding it back..it came out very nice !...i sold it..whish i didn't..but..i had other things that needed to be done...anyway..the guy that gave it to me..had a 86 trx350 foreman..i got it..rebuilt it..sold it..lol..then he came across this '89 trx350d foreman that i rebuilt..yeah..as i said..all of these were givi'n to me..< i had to work for them..we rebuild 3 and 4 wheelers >..it also was a basket case..but..after 6 or 7 months of lurking e-bay..i got alot of my parts..rebuilt her..and finally got to take her out on the trails this past friday..she done very well !!..only problem i had was my ex came loose from the head..easy fix < i took tools with me >..lol..after i got back home..found the ex header was cracked..soo..i replaced that..just got done replacing the rear diff..all new seals and bearings..soo..for now..she run's again !..i'll say this..this trx350 is one heck of a rock crawler..she's not made for top end speed..but sure knows how to craw over and through some wicked stuff !. one of these day's i'll get a trx250 from my friend..and rebuild it. anyway..nice deal on your bike..very nice looking !

I used to own two of those 250s, but the first 4-wheeler I ever owned was the 1984 Fourtrax 200 with 10 gears, 5 low and 5 high. The 200 looked almost identical to the 250, there wasn't much difference in the body style. Then, I had a '85 Fourtrax 250 and a '87 Fourtrax 250, which was the last year they made the 250 in the US. I agree with Shadetree, those 250s were as tough as the 300s were, maybe tougher, because I never had a problem with the rear end in either one of the 250s.
