My sons 250EX rear end has been shaking and he said it feels like hes riding on ice at high speeds. He took his foot guard off and noticed a gap where the frame meets the metal tube attached to the axle on both sides. How do we tighten the frame to that part? Im sorry im not more descriptive. Please and thank you.

Welcome to the forums. Sounds like the swingarm bearings are worn out. If so, the swingarm will have to be removed to replace the bearings.

yup, you'll need the locknut removal tool (which will probly run you around 50 bucks, or you can make one) and you'll need a 17mm allen wrench or socket.
I was actually able to remove the left side of the swingarm (with the locknut) with just the allen wrench and a breaker bar, the locknut stayed on it. I think reinstalling it will require the lock nut tool.

Also, if the bearings are bad, i'm not sure if you will get the right ones if you order from cheapcycleparts.com. I ordered some from them and i got regular ball bearings when it was supposed to be angular bearings.

Good luck
