Has anyone adjusted there valves on your quad's? I have a 2008 Honda foreman TRX 500 FPE. I'm pretty good with doing most of the work on my quad but this is something Iv'e never tried. If anyone has any input it would be greatly appreciated!
I purchased the Honda Service Manual which has every proceedure you need to follow. I think the Manual cost $65.00 or so, but this information inside of it is as good as GOLD. Remember to buy the HONDA Manual. The other Manuals are decent, but do not go into detail like the Honda Manual does.
Once you find the information, all you have to do is carefully follow the step by step valve adjustment proceedure. It is easy, a little time consuming on the first time? Sure.
Just like tomgodd said, removing the plastic is the biggest headache. But that really isn't that bad. Judt don't be intimidated by doing this....It is easy once you get started and begin to understand what the Manual is telling you to do.
