have a 2006 Rancher 350. Have not adjusted the valves. Think maybe I should. Can anyone tell me the procedures or tell me where I can find them on the site.
New to the site so I hope I have not done anything stupid
Welcome to the forums. When you line the "T" mark up to put the piston on TDC, you can be on the compression stroke or the exhaust stroke. Make sure you are on the compression stroke to adjust the valves. Also, make sure the engine is completely cold. The following comes from a 2000-2003 service manual, but it will be the same procedure.
