I'm trying to help a friend of mine fix his 400 AT that someone trashed. Under the seat we found some vacuum lines that were disconnected, in total there are four of them. Two of them run from the front and rear differential, the other two run from both sides of the carb. I posted a pic with green arrows pointing to the ones from the differentials and blue arrows pointing at the ones running out of the carb.

Does anyone know where and how these lines are supposed to be connected?

Are you sure they are vacuum lines? They could just be breather lines/ overflow/ vent...

To be honest i don't know. They look like vacuum lines to me. We are still waiting on the manual for it. Was just hoping someone could shed some light on it for me.

By the way I do know there is a seperate overflow tube running under the carb, but that isn't one of the ones I'm talking about

I just went and looked at a 350 Rancher out in my garage and the only difference that I see in the lines on it and the lines in your picture, is that the two carb vent lines are run into a tee and exit as one line. It's actually not tee shaped, it's y shaped. The line then runs along the frame rail up under the gas tank.

Just vent tubes foe the carb need to be routed up high to stay out of the water when crossing deep holes.

would it be possible to show a diagram of your honda 350 vacuum line connection. Unfortunately, I just got a 2001 honda 350 with the carb off however came with a new carb to install, need to know where all the lines run to unless they are vent lines. Appreciate anyones help...thank you Mac
