I have a 2000 Forman 450ES w/ a metric display. I found a used US display and would like to switch if it is a " plug & play" situation. Does anyone know if there is any other parts required like sensors etc. I am a newbie with atv's and I am having a blast in the 100 acres behind my house, which by the way is in Merrimack NH.
That's interesting, I didn't realise Honda made metric (U.K.) display units. All of the units I've seen have always been American (imperial).
Not that it matters to me as I work in imperial measurements anyway lol.
Well, it's only the US that uses the imperial system. The rest of the entire planet uses metric lol. Except in carpentry..we still use imperial for that. But all of my machines have metric displays on them, including my 94 300.
I wouldn't be so sure... There are so many factories here that use imperial over metric, I don't think I know anyone actually that uses metric. It was introduced, took hold for a while and then faded out really.
Can't remember what my 300 has on the display, I took it off, I'll have a look tomorrow.
