Installed the lower triple tree bearing race. Modified and installed my 200x delrin bushings, and cut down my oem 300ex bearing collar. Gonna try and drill a great hole in it....it's case hardened so this may not work...if not I have other ideas for grease fitting into the swinger bolt also. I ordered stainless steel gas tank bolts, a new 1144 steel front axle and stainless steel front axle spacers. If I can get good parts from some of my reputable contacts I'll but rather than redesign and make.

I ended up selling a huge $240 lot of redone parts to a friend. I took my profits and bought an 86 250r white maier headlight shell. I have an idea. Also insyslled a oem.300ex lock nut. I fo have a durablue posi lock but i electrical take these and have never had an issue with oem loosening up. The electrisl tape keeps the junk out of them. The durablue lock nut is just way bigger and the tape does not form nice around. it.

86 200x front hub came in. Fixed my centering issue...figures one stud is bent on it....IDK how people do this crap. I gotta remove that install new stud and remove bearings by wednesday for my next power coating round. Bouncing time between this a doing the next round on buiding on my blaster. Also broke one of my delrin swinger sleeve, just been on of them weeks. Have more to turn to specs and modify. This is why we make drawings of parts....this is not bubba build.....

Removed bent stud, ordered new. Installed my modified delrin bushings in swinger, slip this time. Put in my swinger collar and the collar is too short. I took a break bought a blaster to rob for parts, and generate $600 profit to help fund the 200x motor rebuild.

Had a bug up my ass, I hate 200x master cylinder placement. Right at my foot, next we run the fluid line over the hot exhaust....and put the reservoir fill bottle over a hot muffler....stupid honda in the early days. Sorry that's wrong. We will be using trx450r full mastercylinder set up, placing it Lowe on subframe like all other atvs are. I had an oem blaster exhaust here as extras...boy did it fit perfectly. I am not after sound so a canister style is fine right now until I build an aluminum muffler. I have room for days!

Just need a few 200x brake items to set distances and real placement of new master. I had a spare 300ex one I used for visual purposes. This is why I keep things just for engineering purposes. I'd say in next 2-3 weeks final mods on frame we done so w3 can get it off yo powdercoat.

cleaned up 2nd inner engine case last night. Pure nasty molasas metal filled oil. Lots of dish soap and hot water, with tooth brush. Rinse and repeat. One they dry I cotton swabs and get into the tiny holes. I will use 1 care of brake cleaner on the cases after I feel they are pretty clean. Hope to have them fully clean by next week so new bearings can go in.

Figured out new routing for a hydrualic line ill get made tomorrow. Also dud away with Hondas junk slot motor plugs and bought 300ex ones. I knew they were the same. Checked threads and diameters. Realized front wheels are not centered and working on the failure fix.
Also converting to trx450r rear master cylinder. Nerd to make a new or different brake pedal and clevis. Been super busy fixing flaws. Cranks rebuild. Picking it up Monday. Rear shock gets dropped off for rebuild, revalving and priv new spring due to my weight dropped 40lbs in 5 months.

Got in a trx200sx I'm quickly trying to make roll and steer so I can move it around. It's a keeper to add to pile, buying another parts Nike tomorrow.

Did this today...only the fools keep spending $200+ on 40year old rubber straps....not done modifying yet. I wanted to retain the oem rubber strap look but have the viewer look again and say WTF...

Maybe you could sell this modernized 3 wheeler to Honda and never need money again :). This is gonna be so cool !
Im seeing what you are doing , I love your improvements but I'm wondering if the wiring harness is going to go inside the frame??? Either way this is some bad ass project. I cant wait to see her get done.
Makes me want to start looking for another 250SX or 3 and start some bolt on stuff....

Finished the headlight clamps, now they gotta get matched stamped so after power coat it know which ones were match machined. Got my seat back form upholstery but they screwed up $90 cover. New girl running it and didn't listen a thing I said so tomorrow I'll take $700 worth of seats in and prove how you do it right.

Wish people who didn't know what they were doing didn't work on toys.

I wanted to drop heads off at engine builder to get rebuild and 5angle valve grind....now I find all this crap. Both can be fixed, one was atc200 one was atc200x. Now I have to fix both by Friday...i don't see that happening.
