why in the world would he need a mechanic just to put oil in it ???..i know i'm old..but..dang..you dont need a mechanic..just to pour some oil through a hole..until it shows full on the dip stick..whats that tv add..'' think with your dipstick '' ??..lmfao...anywayyyyy..the trx90 shares the same oil in both the crank case and tranny...as stated..use oil from honda..or any oil that is made for wet clutches !..and you should be good to go.

oil change

You have removed the cam chain tensoner.Just put it back together and snug it up.Now,on the very bottom of the motor there is a drain plug.Ithink the origional is a 14 or15mm.Put a pan under it and unscrew the plug.Get your oil from the Honda shop. The same engine case holds the engine oil pump and trans.gears.You wont use the whole quart, just 23ounces(.7of a quart). You should be good to go.But to be sure check the level with the dip stick.

i was thinking the same thing ^^^^^^ when i first started reading this from the first post..because i know for a fact..the older models have a bolt..just about the same size as the oil drain bolt..and i can't tell you how many ppl have un-screwed the cam chain tensoner by mistake..thinking it was the oil drain bolt !
