Ok, I rep;aced the slwo jet which helped the bike idle without the use of the choke. That was my first objective. Now, with is started when, I hit the throttle to warm it up, sometimes it revs up, but sometimes it sounds like its trying to kill it. I'll wait 5 seconds and it will rev fine. Wait 5 seconds and then it may sound like its trying to kill it again when I hit the throttle.

Sounds like it still has something in the carb, somewhere, stopping it up.

Carbs can be a pain, sometimes. It's easy to miss something while cleaning one. You'll think you have it spotless and then when you put it back on, it will still be doing the same thing.

Did you clean the gas tank out. May be getting some trash from the tank. I would also get a inline fuel filter for both lines.
Yeah, that would be a good ideal.

Sounds to me like maybe the float is not adjusted right...or is sticking. I had a motorhome with the same type symptoms...drove me nuts. Then I just thought about it for a while...and it all made sense... it would idle great...then when you reved it a bit...it would for a bit..then sputter...but then if you let it idle a bit more...you would "build up" enough gas to rev the engine more..

just a thought:icon_ devil:
