My younger son has a 1987 trx 70. He can ride it for about ten feet and then the rear brakes lock up. If you pull the four wheeler backwards a little bit you can get about another ten feet out of it before it happens again. I read the rear brake sticky at the top here, but it doesn't seem to fit that description. I haven't opened the drum yet but it's on my "to do" list cause little man wants his ride back. I caught him headed for the shed with a hand full of tools the other day so I guess I better get it fixed before he does.

If I follow the instructions in the sticky will it get me headed in the right direction?

Rear shoes have come loose from pad. You need to order a set of shoes for rear and replace. They do this when they get some age on them.

I have the same unit but our front right brake locks when rolling backwards or when the right tire comes off the ground in the least but when you pull the cable it doesn’t engage the right front brake at all. Help?
