I'm having trouble determining the year of my Rubicon and I can't seem to locate the vin on the frame. Any help?

should be stamped into the frame on or near the frame near the steering post

there is normally a plate like ID tag deal and then there is a stamped in frame vin number
others here might be able to pin point location better too for you

but is normally up near center headlight like area near steering post on frame in that area, some times as yrs pass and folks paint and ?? they can be harder to find see,OR if stolen and ground off LOL
its one the main reasons I like when I buy things I get a title with them and lowers the odds of it being stolen, or totaled out in an insurance claim, making them harder to insure!
as legally where I live they HAVE to be insured, titled and lic plate, yet still Illegal to drive almost any where LOL just a way the state can make money off you(insurance company's too)

I have had the problem finding the VIN on my 2004 TRX500FA. From the picture above it looks like it is on the top portion of the frame. If that is so, how in the heck do you see it?
