Will He will need a new choke cable Shade? What part is stripped?
yeah, his choke cable nut is bad, they go bad because they are made of plastic as you very well know ?, and folks strip them out over time.

A new starter valve comes with them but if he doesn’t need a starter valve LMK I have a spare cable nut I’ll send you.
he already ordered a cable and nut from honda. his high idle was not from the choke cable, his main jet needle/slide was not coming all the way down in the throat, which would explain the high idle.

update: got trx350D's carb today, well, it can't be fixed fast, least not by me for now. links on cable cam and upper spring area were bent pretty bad, among a few other prob's. sooooooooooo, I had no choice, I had to give up my spare trx350 carb. no biggie, transferred all his new jets, and parts over to my carb after a good cleaning, buffing, boxed it up, and will be back in the mail Saturday morning. it will be a plug-n-play, bolt on, fuel to it, and it should run like a new atv. he was very thankful, as well as I was good for helping a fellow member out :).
