Ok I'm looking to see what years are the trx300fw the same i have a 1990 and looking for a lift kit I can only seem to find them in 1998 pls help

I believe the 1988-1991 are the same and the 1992-2000 are the same. There are even a few differences in some of the years in these model.

I've looked and I can't locate a lift kit for the 1990 Fourtrax 300, either. I found one for a 1992-1997. Does anybody know if that would work on the 1990?

Submarine, you have yours lifted, don't you? What year is your 300?

Mine is a 98 but it would be real simple to make one. All you need is 6 smallplates of 1/4 steel 3"x3" drill holes 2" apart on center. Make sure to conform the edge of the plate to the axle housing and put a bolt through the plates and the rear shock mount. then put a bolt through the top hole in the plate through the shock hole through the plate on the other side. Do the same thing on the front shocks only put the plates at the top of the shocks instead of the bottom.

It just raises the mounting point and alignment stays the same.

ahh ok i might try to build my own, just cant do more than 2" cause then you have to buy new axles and all, and i think new a-arms to form what i have seen on other sights

Here is the link to the installation instructions for a 1992-1997 lift kit that High Lifter sells. By looking at the pictures at the main bottom, it looks like it might fit the 1990. If it doesn't fit, it looks like it would be easy to modify to fit.

Hi I'm new here but have been looking for a lift kit too this is all I can find (other than homemade) 312 this is the only kit that i can find that has my model yr (1990 300 trx 4x4) it is only a 1 1/2 in lift. if anyone has a "perfex lift kit" that could give a review would be nice. hope this helps

welcome to the forums..sorry i can't help you on the lift prob..i stick with stock..not nearly as much a heaedache..now..if you need top end motor help..diff front and rear..starter..head lights ..those and alot of others i can help you with..lol
