Hi All,

Just a quick question:

I have the early 88-91 TRX300.
I'm wondering if the Toolbox lid/Tail light will fit across all years?

i.e. if I bought a 93 lid will it fit a 1990?

I'm pretty sure they do fit yes, I think @fishfiles may be able to give a definite answer, he's a seasoned 300 owner.

kde' , from what I remember about the truck lids , the will fit different years even though they don't look all the exact same , very similar but different lines -------- I just looked at Partzilla and the truck lid is not shown , at least I couldn't find a pic and no listing

yes they are interchangeable, some had raised "ribs" while others were flat.

I think the older ones were smooth and the newer ones had the flats, but it might have been a running change in production because all the part numbers show the same right through all production years of the given colour.

Speaking of colour, just make sure you buy the correct one, and the lid should match right up. There were 2 different colours of red, 2 blue, grey, beige, green.

I didn't realise there were 2 x Red colours.
I ordered a used one off eBay with the light included...

Has to be better than what I already have ... which is nothing

haha yeah it's sure to be an improvement!

I always get the names mixed up but one colour was from 88-97 and another from 98-00. One was Passion Red and the other Patriot Red.

I have a 88-91 ATV, and bought a 93 toolbox lid, so I should be OK for colour
