This is my first post. Hopefully I am doing it right. I have a 1999 300 4x4 that I bought new and have been riding with little to no work all this time. I'm finally going to tear it down and fix anything that needs fixing. I just rebuilt the carb which looks good now. (by the way, I need a new fuel tank. Any ideas? A new stock one is almost $800 and I'm tired of fixing pin hole leaks!!!) Anyway, I checked the compression after the carb rebuild and it is 170 psi. The manual says it should be between 178 and 206 psi. I think 170 should be good but I wanted to run it by you guys first. What do you think?????????
